Back by popular demand, the impressive Longhorns make an appearance during the show as the pioneering settlers move west in search of new lands. For most guests, this is the closest they will come to these magnificent animals.

Stampede offers two shows in one – one-of-a-kind pre-show entertainment and a full-scale arena spectacular with a talented cast of performers, costumed servers, singing and dancing, trick riding with an impressive stable of 32 horses, and the spectacular “Roman Ride of Fire!” Guests are expected to bring a hearty appetite with them as they will be served Stampede’s traditional four-course feast.

Innovative new lighting technology brings the main arena backdrop to life and features a stunning tribute to the Great Smoky Mountains.

Please arrive an hour before show time to stroll the beautiful horsewalk, and enjoy the side-splitting comedy and bluegrass and country music of Stampede’s house band during the pre-show.

The Four Course Feast includes:
  • Whole Rotisserie Chicken

  • Hickory Smoked Barbecued Pork Loin

  • Stampede's Original Creamy Vegetable Soup

  • Scrumptious Homemade Biscuit

  • Hot Buttered Corn on the Cob

  • Tasty Herb-basted Potato

"Fabulous Family Experience"
October, 2018 NEW
Our family attended a 6 pm show in Pigeon Forge, and we absolutely loved it! Our girls are 9 and 10 and enjoyed the competition between the north and south. Their favorite competition was the baby pig races. Food was excellent, our server was extremely kind, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The girls even got to meet one of the riders, pet his horse, and get their tickets autographed after the show.

"Had a good time. Kids first time..success."

Our vacation originally started in Destin... it the hurricane forces us to change plans. Decided Gatlinburg was a good alternative. Booked the Stampede and it was a success! Not only the experience was was great. My daughter said it was the best chicken I’ve ever had. The only reason it’s a 4 star instead of a 5 star...the preshow arrangements were very tight. Show itself was good...but it was like sardines in the saloon.

Our youngest loves Dixi Stampede, and we have been to each one all the way back to when DS was open in Myrtle Beach, SC , Branson Missouri & Orlando, Florida . This didn’t disappoint. The preshow were 3 men who played the guitar, deep bass, & the banjo. The banjo player is a 4 time 1st place winner, and you can see why! Dry enjoyable! Dinner was good as usual, the soup is by far the best. Would be happy if you could get just the soup & a salad. Our waitress was wonderful. Friendlly and into her part of the show. Made it that much more enjoyable. The show was good, except for the woman trick rider who was did the ring of Fire . She was boring, & was very rough with her horses. I have never seen anyone at DS treat their animals in that way before. Very disappointed.

This is my first review! I honestly never review but I felt it was necessary to share our experience this evening. My family of three visited the Stampede tonight. This was the most awful experience for $177.00. First of all, we were shoulder to shoulder, LITERALLY! Matter of fact, I had to eat my dinner with one hand (trying to create a few extra inches of space) because I was trying my best to make eating comfortable for my son and husband. That was the absolute worst. Forget leg space - non existent! Food was just okay. Entertainment was fine, however I think we would have enjoyed it more had we not been so cramped.
