Description

from Dolly Parton's Stampede Dinner Attraction
Join Dolly Parton's Stampede Dinner Attraction in Pigeon Forge, TN for a family feast and fantastic show fun for all ages. Celebrating over 30 years of providing quality family entertainment.

Back by popular demand, the impressive Longhorns make an appearance during the show as the pioneering settlers move west in search of new lands. For most guests, this is the closest they will come to these magnificent animals.

Stampede offers two shows in one – one-of-a-kind pre-show entertainment and a full-scale arena spectacular with a talented cast of performers, costumed servers, singing and dancing, trick riding with an impressive stable of 32 horses, and the spectacular “Roman Ride of Fire!” Guests are expected to bring a hearty appetite with them as they will be served Stampede’s traditional four-course feast.

Innovative new lighting technology brings the main arena backdrop to life and features a stunning tribute to the Great Smoky Mountains.

Please arrive an hour before show time to stroll the beautiful horsewalk, and enjoy the side-splitting comedy and bluegrass and country music of Stampede’s house band during the pre-show.

The Four Course Feast includes:
  • Whole Rotisserie Chicken

  • Hickory Smoked Barbecued Pork Loin

  • Stampede's Original Creamy Vegetable Soup

  • Scrumptious Homemade Biscuit

  • Hot Buttered Corn on the Cob

  • Tasty Herb-basted Potato

  • Stampede's very own Specialty Dessert

  • Unlimited Coca-Cola, tea or coffee

In November and December, Dolly Parton’s Stampede transforms into a holiday celebration including a live Nativity, with three kings atop camels, holiday music, a visit from Santa and a four-course yuletide feast.

Stampede Dinner Attractions operate in two popular vacation destinations: Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and Branson, Missouri. They also operate Pirates Voyage in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

"Family Fun"
January, 2019 NEW
My husband and i decided to treat our children and grandchildren to the Stampede for Christmas 2018. I wasn't sure at first if the event would be too long to hold the attention for two - five year olds and a three year old, but their eyes were like saucers the entire time. Before we arrived they wanted to know if the animals were going to be real and then were amazed to see real camels, horses, pigs, and sheep entertaining us. The food was delicious, the servers were professional and kind, the show was fast-paced, beautiful, and entertaining for the entire family - in our case from ages 3 to 66.

"Good show but fair dinner"

Here are some tips. Your admission ticket assigns you a row that fills from the the far side to center stage. So be the first to enter your row to be closer to the center of the arena. To get to the front of the line follow these steps. There is a pre-show. Go to the second floor for the show and all the way to the end of the room near the entry doors. They are across from the restrooms. This will ensure a better view of the show. A word of the food. It is served without the use of a knife, fork or spoon. I recommend bringing hand cleaner. The best part of dinner is the roaster Cornish hen. The show is a display of horsemanship with interludes of comedy and song.

Food is good, but comes at such a rapid pace you don't have time to finish it, and then they fly to clean it up. Both Christmas and regular show is good but food is difficult to get them to let you finish

"Horse Show Entertainment"

The show was entertaining. It did smell like dining in a barn, which was gross, and I should have expected as much being an indoor horse show... Still, not exactly appetizing. The food was just okay, and they do not give you utensils. My advice would be if you are debating between this and the Smoky Mountain Christmas show in Pigeon Forge, go to the one in Pigeon Forge. It was nicer and the food was better, and the unpleasant smell doesn't exist. All in all we had a good time.
