"It was ok but not like the pictures they advertised"

We only stayed one night as this was an ad on to a vacation we were on. The pictures they show are beautiful rooms with fire places and updates. However our room was right out of the 70s. The sink counter was broken tub stained old refrigerator was rusted inside of it and the kitchen sink was rusted with green yuck in the drain. However the room was very spacious beds were nice and the tile flooring was heated. So it worked for just the night we were there and it is close to everything so you can just walk where you want to go. Went to go to dinner at there restaurant at 6:30 and it was closed. They said if they don’t have enough business they close it down so don’t count on that being open to eat. Yes it needs up graded which I understand they are working on. But probably shouldn’t have let get to this point.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at! The bed was incredibly hard and the room as a whole was very outdated. The air conditioner barely worked and made a horrible loud noise the entire night. Walls were paper thin and they had no regulations on kids yelling up and down the stairwell at all hours. Thank God my husband had an almost free night to use because we didn't pay more than $50 for this room otherwise I would have demanded a refund! Definitely would NEVER recommend this place!

"Tried hard"

Stayed there with my granddaughter and son during spring break this year. The TV and microwave didn’t work but the maintenance guys worked so hard to fix it and did by the second day. The front desk texted me to ask if everything was ok and really tried hard to get things right...they stayed on top of things. The place was packed and yet they gave personal service. Overall a great stay and close to everything. Karen needs special recognition as well as the maintenance guys whose names I did not get but they were all awesome

"Don't do it, you're not VIP"

Hubs and I booked a room for four days as celebration on his military retirement. Walked in and we were automatically hassled into doing the VIP timeshare tour. Waste of time. Oh and use the voucher the same day ( no one will tell you). Also tour says 90 minutes; plan 3 hours. Room had missing furniture, or old furniture. Not worth the 117 bucks a night. We did bot get the military discount as quoted when we booked the room. Everything is in walking distance which is a plus, but there is a reason this hotel is begging you to stay for 69 a night and meal voucher. Westgate bought it and is trying to fund the rebuilding of the finer resort up the road. This was our fourth time staying here and the worst. Plus now I'm going through a huge hassle to retrieve a recovered lost item. Stay with small and locally run chains. The restaurant is convenient, but 11.95 for a breakfast buffet is highway robbery. Staff was courteous, but always passed the buck if a problem arose.

"Okay for a short stay"

Room was spacious and comfortable. Beds were great. Everything was very clean. It’s in a great location. Downside is that the walls are thin. Can hear people all over. They need to tighten the headboards. My son jumped on the bed and it banged against the wall. Could hear kids next door and the headboard would bang. Seems like the hotel is older and could use some upgrades. Steep hill to walk up to get to building 5 and no view. We didn’t have housekeeping come so can’t comment on that.
