"Neat Place - A little overpriced"
April, 2018 NEW
We went on a rainy day, so it was pretty crowded. Slightly overpriced, and some of the lines were a little too long for what time we had, but our son (10) enjoyed the different stations we were able to visit. I would not recommend bringing children under 5 - there wasn't much to do for little ones.

we were here literally for maybe 2 hours tops; our children were getting trampled over by others including adults, we were able to enjoy the rock climbing wall and that was it

"Loved it! Great for my Family!"
March, 2018
My husband, I and my son (4 years old) very much enjoyed WonderWorks! We all rocked climbed (only have to be 40 lbs to participant), very much enjoyed the motion theater, and all the other awesome activities. We could easily spend all day there. I can't wait until my son is a little taller to do the rope climbing (I think you have to be 42 inches tall). It is such a fun place!

Great place for the family or those who like a adventure. Spend all day or come, go then come back bc they give you wristbands to come and go as you wish. Just don’t make other plans when planning to go here.

"Barely better than Poor; maybe more fun with teenagers than with young kids"

Since it rained on one of our days in Pigeon Forge, outdoor activities were out of the question. For years, I had seen the various Wonderworks locations around the country, but had never been inside one until now. And I definitely won't be back any time soon. It quickly became clear that, once being overrun with teens throughout the day, the target market is definitely not young kids -- despite having some attractions to appeal to them. There is nothing inherently wrong with the experience -- everything is pretty well put together and presented. The facility is fairly clean and pricing seems reasonable (2 adults and 2 kids were $105 for all-access passes, which included laser tag and the ropes course). Parents intersperse with their kids, as well as other solo adults, to compete for space in line for almost every activity. Some of these have a façade of educational value, but none would be truly confused with a science center. Combining the noise of the games and rides with the loud music pouring through the place can quickly exhaust anyone trying to have a conversation or keep their children focused. You could clearly tell most other parents had given up on that idea by the time they walked in the door. Most of the staff seemed polite and competent -- it was just the poor flow, sporadic crowds (with little crowd control), and constant noise that did me in. My son and I gave up on the ropes course after the line failed to move for 20 minutes. On the other hand, laser tag was almost empty and my family almost had the place to ourselves. I might come back one day in 8-10 years when my kids are old and patient enough to enjoy everything, but as it stands, there are only 3-4 things that really appeal to young kids (and every other young kid in the place, based on the clusters of children!).
