Many of the cars are the creations of George Barris, who has created more famous Hollywood movie & TV cars than anyone. New cars are added nearly every year to keep the museum in step with the current Hollywood entertainment industry.

Popular cars are from such blockbuster hit movies such as The Ghostbusters' Ecto-1, The Munsters' Drag-u-la, General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard, the Beverly Hillbillies' Jalopy, and two Batmobiles - from Batman TV Show and Batman Returns. Other cars featured are "Eleanor" from Gone in 60 Seconds, The Fast and the Furious, Back to the Future's DeLorean time machine, Days of Thunder Mello Yello race car, the Beach Boys' 1955 Thunderbird, Sir Paul McCartney's Cadillac, and many more.

"Awesome experience"

We absolutely love the Hollywood Star Cars Museum. This is our second visit here. They do change the inventory periodically, so you never know what you are going to see. The staff is very knowledgeable of the cars and their history. Can't wait to go back!

Place was not as big as expected, but great place to take kids. Not worth the price for tickets in my opinion.

"Very Cool"
March, 2015
I really loved the cars in this museum, they were all really nice and they had all the background information on the vehicles posted on the walls. I also loved that you could get in the Flintstone's car if you wanted. We had a great time.

I went with my parents, my husband and my 14 month old. My parents got the senior discount - $2 off each- and due to my husband's military, everyone in the party was given $2 off regardless of age. The baby was free. My dad and husband are huge car guys so they got a kick out of it. My mom was familiar with a lot of the cars as well from her younger days. They allow taking pictures but don't want you touching most cars, but they allow anyone inside the Flinstones car, so that was fun for my baby to climb around on. When going upstairs, there are more lights and sounds. Could be scary for kids who don't like extra sounds. My daughter didn't mind it. I enjoyed the car from the movie Twister; they set the scene with lightning and thunder like a tornado was coming through. That was cool. I also enjoyed seeing Paul McCartney's car. The Bat mobile is last on the tour and its cool to see. It wasn't too crowded so we could leisurely make our way through without feeling rushed. And it's one of the cheaper museums in the area! Give it a try

This is a must for your car fanatic. Actual cars from movies with a little history to read or watch. Super nice folks running it. She told us about the Dukes of Hazzard car and opened the hood for my husband to view the motor. She said they even drive the cars to get them serviced. They promote taking pictures. It's very interesting.
