Our Family absolutely loved this display and museum. We were so blessed to have had the opportunity to view the exhibits and take some time to remember the real reason for why we are here. God. I recommend that everyone visiting Gatlinburg stop and see Christ in the Smokies.

"Hidden treasure"
October, 2015
Three of us traveled to Pigeon Forge area, Went on line prior and found Christ in the Smokies and purchased the tickets to surprise the other two. We loved it. The characters were so realistic, made you feel like you were a part of the scene. Beautiful portrayal of each event. This little hidden treasure is worth the visit, we now tell everyone we know to stop by. Most that has travel there for years did not even realize it was there.
Tip: You can purchase tickets on line and save. Great parking after you visit, you can walk to all the other attraction and park free.

"Visiting Christ in the Smokies"
July, 2015
I visited Christus Gardens in the early 70's with my children and wanted to relive the experience. It was better now than then. With each scene, My wife and I were taken back into time. It was breathtaking. The people in the scenes looked as real as if we were talking with them. It certainly made me glad to call myself Christian after my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My plans are to go back next year for another visit. If you are going to Gatlinburg, stop in. One of the best attractions in town.

On our recent trip to Gatlinburg, my wife and I toured the Museum and Gardens. The Museum is amazing as you walk through 12 Biblical Scenes with narration, mood lighting and inspirational music at each scene. The life-size figures at each scene were so expertly made they almost seem to come alive. The Face Of Christ Sculpture in the Gardens seems to follow you as you walk past. The price of admission was very reasonable and included all day parking in their lot which was only 1 block off the main street through Gatlinburg. I would highly recommend this tour.

We just parked here because we wanted the money to go to for a good cause and we've already seen the museum. But when we went to pay for parking, they were not very friendly and sent us back outside to an attendant who was not there when we came in. She explained that he was on his lunch break and that he's back out front now. But she was not very friendly about it. Went back out front to pay the parking attendant who was also very unfriendly. You would think a Christian organization would have nicer people working for them!

Several different rooms comprised of larger than life size mannequins take you on a journey following his life from birth thru crucifixion and resurrection accompanied with scripture and secular music choices. A very moving tribute. This museum sits at the very base of the Smoky Mountains and was spared by the engulfing fires of October 2016.
