Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival Falls into Place in Gatlinburg

The town of Gatlinburg celebrates Autumn with the Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival, scheduled for September 15 through October 31, 2011.
The fall foliage in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which surrounds Gatlinburg, creates gorgeous scenery to enjoy. Plus, there are a variety of events and festivals in the area, along with Gatlinburg attractions, that make this time of year a great one to visit eastern Tennessee.

During the Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair is held. From October 6 through October 23, the Gatlinburg Convention Center is home to numerous artisans and craftsmen who are on-hand each day to demonstrate their skills, answer questions, and offer their unique art and wares for sale.
