"Dissapointed in show"
November, 2015
We were in R2 at edge, couldn't see much ! The angel was beautiful if we could have seen her we only saw the back side. Couldn't see much of the decorations on top, just a rock. Would we go back ? Probably not price to much for what we saw. My 4 year granddaughter wanted to leave the first 20 mins. of the show. Maybe it would be better if we could have gotten a seat in the middle so she could see. We really looked forward to taking her to the Christmas Show ! Four Adults , Two Children, so sad we couldn't see anything nothing but back side of things ! Would I recommend this show ? NO !!! Sorry Dolly !!!
Tip: Watch where YOU set !

"Holly Jolly Christmas"
February, 2015
Most children adore their grandmothers but my twin sons, now 28, were especially fond of my mother because she helped me raise them. I was divorced from their father when they were very young. Being a single parent; working full time with the full responsibility of caring for twins, having my mom around to fill in when I needed her made her my special angel. She was the only help I had. So when she died this past September, our family felt such a great loss. We struggled through Thanksgiving without her. One of my son's draped my mother's apron on a chair at the dinner table! Needless to say, it was difficult to enjoy that meal. So, I decided what we needed for Christmas was a change of venue. I decided to renew some pleasant childhood memories. My sons had seen the Dixie Stampede show when visiting Gatlinburg when they were teens and loved it! I decided to try and make it happen again. I got online and within minutes, we were set thanks to the efficiency of the site. I called the boys with the news that we had tickets and they were thrilled! We spent 3 days in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and for a little while, the pain of losing my mom wasn't so overwhelming. My mother loved Christmas. I know she would have wanted me to do something to make her grandsons happy. I did my best! We were together as a family and we had a holly jolly Christmas.
Tip: Take a healthy appetite to the show. If you eat before you go, you'll miss out on enjoying some really tasty food. Don't worry that you have no utensils, that's part of the fun!!

Went as a child and remembered it being really cool experience so couldn't wait to take my kids back. Food is awful for the price so very disappointed with that. They ask for a 15% tip on top of the expensive tickets I was not aware of this and had no cash maybe tell us that when we order the tickets. Show is very corny but my kids loved it so I will give the show 3 stars the show could be better and the food needs a lot of help. Downright nasty

My son loved the food that was served and my daughter could not wait to the end when they get to meet the horses and riders We had a nice evening and the kids loved it. Heads up, the food is served in such a way that no silverware is offered. Our hotel concierge suggested getting plastic forks from the coffee shop in our hotel. But they have hot towels at the end so you don't leave with sticky hands. We plan to return on a future visit to the area.

The food was delicious but had to be eaten with your fingers only. Wet naps were provided for cleanup. The service was excellent. The show was amazing. It was hard to see everything on at once between eating and watching the show. It is mildy interactive but not intrusive. There were photos taken in front of a green screen that was supposed to be offered to you at some time during the show but we never saw them.....Aside from that this is a definite must see while in Pigeon Forge. Make sure you come hungry.

We've been here quite a few times over the yrs, and it's always worth seeing. This Dolly Parton owned attraction is set in a huge indoor arena. I won't spoil the show, but if you like horses, and watching people who know how to ride, you'll enjoy it. The food is pretty decent here. But, be prepared to eat with your hands. It's BBQ, and corn on the cob, etc... I'd bring some wipes or germ-X., unless you like sticky fingers. The service is always good, and that's saying a lot considering the volume that packs in there for a show. If you're not a local, this place is a little pricy. I'd look for a coupon or promotion(they're out there)... All n all, it's worth a visit. Enjoy

The six of us enjoyed the pre-show and dinner performance at the Dixie Stampede Dinner and Show. Parking was plentiful and easy. The tickets were easy to obtain on-line and claim at the will-call booth. The pre-show was excellent although many seats could only see the stage using TV monitors. Service was uniformly excellent. The main show was Very Good. Seating was good throughout the large arena/theater. The performers did a superb job. The special effects were Excellent. We did feel sorry for the animals that had been trained to do fairly unnatural moves. The meal was Very Good in quality and Excellent in quantity. Exiting the theater was orderly, but slow. We would recommend the experience to any visitor to the area.
