from Oak Tree Lodge
Check-In: 3:00pm Check-Out: 12:00pm
Oak Tree Lodge is your choice for hotel lodging in the Pigeon Forge area with its proximity to fine restaurants, great attractions, shows and being across the street from Tanger Outlet mall doesn't hurt either. But there is more to a great hotel than location, and at Oak Tree Lodge you’ll find all the best amenities like an indoor pool and outdoor pool with slide, an on site convention center, free deluxe continental breakfast and warm friendly hospitality from our staff.

Our hotel setting among horse pastures and the rolling hills of the Smoky Mountains truly sets us apart from all the run of the mill main street hotels. You actually look out your balcony and can see a mare and her foal running in the adjacent pasture.

Oak Tree Lodge is the perfect place for your next family vacation, family reunion, or corporate retreat. Guests can easily walk to the outlet shopping, mini golf at Ripley's or fine restaurants or take the trolley from our front to Dollywood or the Great Smoky Mountains. Fun and excitement are just steps away, so park the car and enjoy!

We offer large rooms with refrigerator and microwave, and some suites have fireplaces and Jacuzzis for that extra special getaway. At Oak Tree lodge you’ll see we're more about a place to stay than a place to spend the night. We want to be your choice for Smoky Mountain lodging.

"Family friendly lodging!"
June, 2016
This was our first trip to Pigeon Forge and the Oak Tree Lodge helped us to have a wonderful visit! The hotel staff were very friendly upon our arrival and even had free cookies available upon check-in. The rooms were very nice, we enjoyed sitting out on the little balcony. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave. The continental breakfast was very tasty--my 5 year old loved the Belgian waffles! There were two pools available. The outdoor pool had more activities, but the indoor pool was quieter. Also loved the free arcade games!! There was one incident of noisy neighbors, but the front desk was quick to correct the situation. The wifi wasn't the best, but there was so much to keep our family entertained that we didn't miss it. The hotel might not have all the modern conveniences, but it was perfect for our little family. We will definitely visit again!

Tip: Call the hotel to check their deals against any online deals. A couple of our online deals were better, but then some of the hotel's specials were better than online.

"Mommy and daughter getaway"
October, 2015
I took my daughter to Pigeon Forge for a short getaway after I finished my summer classes. The lodge was a great choice to stay! My daughter loved our Jacuzzi tub, went nuts over the pool and small water park area, and the breakfast selection was pretty great as well. The lodge was very nice and clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay as well. We went to Dollywood while we were on vacation and the lodge is just a short distance from both the theme park and water-park. There is shopping within walking distance as well as great places to eat! Only issue was that the wi-fi wasn't the greatest we never could get ours to connect and my daughter loves playing games on her ipad before bed.

"Great Experience!"
October, 2015
we were in town for conference in Gatlinburg and decided to stay another night in Pigeon Forge- tried to find a place to stay almost everything was booked. Went online and found this site- got great place to stay, reasonable rate, and lots of extras (tickets to many attractions) which was a plus!! Our kids loved, loved the outdoor pool!! Fun water sprayers, slides, and not too deep for a non-swimmer- so they could enjoy! Right across from the Tanger Outlets so that was a plus in our daughter's eyes! the room was great, beds, pillows, shower, etc.. all were fine! Great patio also! and breakfast was good- lots of variety! Hostess very nice! We definitely will book again! lisab

"Weekend Getaway"
October, 2015
Our family surely enjoyed our stay at Oak Tree Lodge. We had fun at the indoor and outdoor pools. The room was very clean and nice. I liked the rustic look. The breakfast was really good, and there was a good variety of foods. The only complaint my teenagers had was that the wi-fi did not reach to our room, 219, but it did not bother me! I especially liked it that we were just across the road from the Tanger mall. And they gave us some great coupons when we arrived. It was all-in-all a great stay. Anita D.

"fairly decent place"

This was a decent place to stay, not great but did seem to be clean and exceted some of the reviews we had read on the place. Although when we arrived early the lady said the room had been cleaned but not inspected yet, and checked us in and said it would take just a minute to be inspected. In just a minute she got our keys and put us in a different room saying the carpet had a spot on it, I did appreciate the fact that it was double checked prior to just renting it out. There was only two problem i would note on the room. The enamed cast iron sink looked old timey in the bathroom and there was not even a place to lay a razor down much less shaving cream, and other bathroom supplies, The back of the commode was the largest place in bathroom to lay anything down including even a towel hook to hang towel while showering. Also the pressure was really good in the shower but it put our more water than what would drain out of the shower/tub. By time finished showering the tub was 1/4 fukk of water. But overall, i would stay here again. On a positive note they had plenty of parking for me to park my truck and trailer while we stayed and parked motorcycle in regular parking space..

"Fall Break Stay"

Our Family stayed at the Oak Tree this past weekend and it was just what we needed. Clean rooms, decent beds and close to everything. It's about a 7-9 min drive to Dollywood and other Pigeon Forge places. If you're looking for a Ritz type experience, you'll be disappointed, but if you need a clean place to stay with some amenities for the kids and not spend and arm & leg, this place is perfect. The staff is friendly and inviting as well.

10/13/17. Could not check in until 7:30. Room was on 1st floor and smelled like MOLD!!! When I checked the bed it had a huge blood stain on the mattress cover. Who knows what was underneath. That was as far as I had to look. They did not want to print me a receipt saying my credit card was no charged. Terrible experience !!!

"Worst experience ever - nasty service - nasty rooms."
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed October 09, 2017 NEW
Just had the worst experience ever with this motel. My mother and her friend checked in, for a reservation that had been in place since mid June. Their room was supposed to be a handicap room but turned out to be so small they couldn't even walk past each other in the room. The bathroom didn't have any place to put even a toothbrush and toothpaste, only a pedestal sink - which they were told "was better for wheelchair access". There is no actual way a wheelchair would even fit in the room to pass by the beds or into the bathroom. The room was dirty and smelled so bad they literally could not stay in it.They asked for a different room and were told there were none. The guy at the desk was horrible, his attitude toward two elderly ladies was beyond deplorable when they told him they absolutely could not stay in the room because of the smell and nasty floor he told them they had not choice as they had to stay one night and would not receive a refund. They finally convinced him that if he could not move them they had to leave. He gave them 15 minutes to remove their suitcases and other items and get out of the room and he would refund the one night. One is 85 the other is 75 years old. This is unacceptable for anyone but for two older ladies - it's beyond horrible. This was a group event with numerous rooms that had been reserved mid-June.

I have always stayed here. I love the beds and the staff is always friendly. The only complaint that I have is that the indoor pool is never warm. We stayed there 2 weekends in a row. The first weekend we had let the staff know and others had complained about it too. The second weekend we went back and the pool was still ice cold. This has happened before but the pool is usually fixed. Sadly I am going to have to find another place to stay. We use the indoor pool wherever we stay.
