"So close to everything"

The staff was so pleasant. This motor inn is well kept, a 3 minute walk to downtown Gatlinburg, and very friendly. A great value! We will be staying here again.
Tip: Rooms come equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker

It was an ok stay. The beds are clean but the bathroom is tiny and toilets were hard to flush.
Tip: Don't expect the Hilton but it was ok for the price

"average accommodations good service"

It was an okay place to stay for an inexpensive getaway with my small children. No complaints and lower rating is only because the hotel is a bit dated, but for the price it is a good value!
Tip: Bring decent walking shoes and you are in great shape with the location of this hotel

"Awesome time"

I took my two sons and I to this place and it was unbelievable. We had a great time with an unbelievable view of Tennessee. It was very close to everything and the staff was very friendly. Overall I'm definitely giving this a 10!
Tip: When they say your check in time is 3 PM they mean 3 PM. Which is good because it means they take their time to get the room clean and ready for you.

"Great place to stay"

This a great place to stay, clean, friendly, good location, near the aquarium and the Village. The only thing we would advise about Gatlinburg downtown is the sidewalks are uneven, not level and a true "trip" adviser hazard. Hotel great, sidewalks in town bad. Hotel has 2 pools.

"Cute place!"

I went to Gatlinburg as a child, but this was my first time as an adult. It was a very cute, clean place that was within walking distance of the strip in Gatlinburg. The staff was very friendly and it was a nice quiet hotel. Also, I loved the raccoon statue outside the hotel! Nice Tennessee touch!

Was not sent a confirmation, yet was charged for the room. go elsewhere! Will stay at a Red Roof Inn rather than stay here. Many other options available with good customer service, and a concern for future business.

"Quick Trip, Quiet Night"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed August 27, 2016 NEW

Got in at about 1AM and our key was waiting for #216. Second floor room up a flight of stairs; no elevator that I saw. Outside facing, overlooking the other inns. Room was quiet and clean. Lighting was minimal inside the room, but worked; plenty in the bathroom and sink alcove. Moderately roomy with two queen beds and many pillows but would be tight quarters for a family of four or more. Bathroom was very tight and hot water was finicky but enough for two rather long showers with minimal spats of cold water only. Beds were comfortable and floors were clean. AC worked fine although didn't cool quite as expected. Room includes a fridge, microwave and coffee maker as well as a large flat screen TV. Free wifi with username and password from front desk. Door locked tightly with a deadbolt but cracks of light still snuck in underneath. There were some stains in the popcorn ceiling, outlets that wouldn't hold a plug and outlets without covers but nothing that would give me extreme pause in recommending this hotel, especially at around $65 per night. It was quiet and felt safe-- other than no smoke alarm batteries. Check out is at 11AM. Not bad, Mountain House. PS. In the morning, I was able to see the grounds: well kept and manicured. Two clear, welcoming pools with shallow ends. Lots of brochures onsite and plenty of parking. About a five minute walk to the downtown strip with tons of activities, restaurants and tourist traps. 😀

"Weekend Getaway!!!"

This was my first time in Gatlinburg, this was a nice inn (hotel), the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We stayed Aug 19-21. Everything is within walking distance, far away from the noise to enjoy. We didn't use the pool, but it has very clean. The room was nice and clean, 2 queen beds, flat screen TV, fridge (small) but that was cool. Our check out was easy I stopped by the front desk the night before to ask how early and he just told me to leave it in the little box they provide. I will definitely be staying here the next time we go.
