"Amazing Vacation Amazing Place!"
June, 2016
This was our second stay at Glenstone Lodge and I must say they are very consistent. The room was clean and everything worked as it should, wifi was nice and didn't drop out or lag. It can get a little hot in the indoor pool area but it was really, nice with the waterfalls, and the deep section is separate from the shallower section. The water I side is very warm for those that do not like cold pools, however the outdoor pool was much cooler if you like that also. The staff were polite and handled all our questions even when we locked ourself out of our room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you have children.
Tip: Indoor pool is humid, Staff is nice

"A good nights rest"
October, 2015
Glenstone Lodge is well located in Gatlinburg for a quick walk downtown. It is an older lodge but was very clean and the air conditoning worked wonderfully!
Tip: It is a busy large lodge so request a room on the backside if you're not with a family.

"Very pleasant stay"
April, 2015
I took my daughter & two grandchildren, ages 6 & 8, for a 2 day stay @ Glenstone Lodge. It was awesome! Kids loved the indoor pool; queen suite was quiet (mountain view), spacious, comfortable, & clean. Staff (all of them!) were friendly & helpful! Breakfast buffet had many selections, convenient & reasonably priced. Internet was not working consistently.
Tip: Historic Trail is a couple blocks off the main drag (Parkway) in Gatlinburg. Parkway traffic was horrible so getting to the hotel takes a while.

I found this deal on Travelzoo and am thoroughly loving it! The hotel was less than 70. (Great for me while on a budget!). The room was nice and clean and the indoor pool was AWESOME! My grandson and I were able to walk to downtown Gatlinburg (about a mile or so), and keep the car parked at the hotel for free. Everything was perfect! Thanks Glenstone-lodge!

We stayed for 4 nights, couldn't be a better price. Located a block or so from the Parkway in Gatlinburg. Room 196 was a bit small for a disabled room, sink a little high but shower was great, roll-in with seat; toilet seat was nice and high with bars all-around. Single cup tray style coffee maker in room; mini fridge was handy. Good TV with lots of channels including 3 or 4 HBO. Room was quiet with handicapped parking spot right out front. We had a problem with the AC one afternoon, reported to office. They came pulled the unit, fixed it (ICE COLD) and had it back in place in less then an hour. Everyone we talked to on staff was extremely nice, very helpful. We were well pleased with the entire experience.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly and we didn't experience any issues in regards to the room, the staff or the amenities. I would recommend this hotel and we will use it again. It was close to everything we wanted to do in Gatlinburg. Everything was within walking distance.

Nice and quiet. Comfy beds. Clean rooms. Convenient location. Easy to get around , not too much walking. Stream right behind the hotel. Very pretty. Outdoor pool is out of order. No free breakfast. This has been our only stay at Gatlinburg. Tried the trolley which is pretty convenient, has 2 stops each about a block from the hotel and a nice low price.

"Breakfast was not only $1 more but actually $4 more per person!"

When we checked in we were told the breakfast buffet was only $6 a person since that was a really good deal we decided to eat there. The food was really pretty good and the waitress and omlet chef was great however when we got our check we were charged $9.95 per person plus our drinks. When we asked they said that the chef decided to change the price and thats just what it was because they charge based on their room count!! So we paid very reluctantly and continued to the front desk to ask what the deal was they didnt even seem to care or want to make it right. I think thats do wrong to charge your people staying based on how many are staying there first and foremost but also the lack of need to try to make it right had me completely shocked!! Never again will we eat at Glenstone if we decide to ever stay here again. Also, might I add we have been returning customers for many years and have remained loyal to them. Their outdoor pool is also tore up for reno and their hot tub doesnt even work!! So sure pay $4 more per person for breakfast but be let down in many more ways as well!!
