"Amazing Vacation Amazing Place!"
June, 2016
This was our second stay at Glenstone Lodge and I must say they are very consistent. The room was clean and everything worked as it should, wifi was nice and didn't drop out or lag. It can get a little hot in the indoor pool area but it was really, nice with the waterfalls, and the deep section is separate from the shallower section. The water I side is very warm for those that do not like cold pools, however the outdoor pool was much cooler if you like that also. The staff were polite and handled all our questions even when we locked ourself out of our room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you have children.

"Very pleasant stay"
April, 2015
I took my daughter & two grandchildren, ages 6 & 8, for a 2 day stay @ Glenstone Lodge. It was awesome! Kids loved the indoor pool; queen suite was quiet (mountain view), spacious, comfortable, & clean. Staff (all of them!) were friendly & helpful! Breakfast buffet had many selections, convenient & reasonably priced. Internet was not working consistently.

Tip: Historic Trail is a couple blocks off the main drag (Parkway) in Gatlinburg. Parkway traffic was horrible so getting to the hotel takes a while.

Booked this hotel at last minute thru Priceline and was advised it was a 3 star property. Does not even come close. The hotel has outdoor walkways which have peeling paint, cracks, and not much in the way of views unless you want to look at the Hampton Inn. The elevators do not work well. One time door did not open, another time door opened between floors and their condition is questionable. No inspection reports in the elevators. Beware of the elevator in back of the building. Room was OK but not a 3 Star room. Indoor pool has potential but the cement is breaking off, bottle and other trash in bottom of pool and hot tub is nothing but a hot water tub. No jets and peeling and cracked cement in and around the tub. Most of the staff not very friendly and most do not speak english.

"Went to Cheerleading Competition"

Worst experience ever!!!! CHEERLEADERS BEWARE!!!! People with Asthma Beware!!! Went to a cheerleading competition (6 hours away), so we got in late. The first room opened up into where the indoor pool was... ..asthma kicked in....could not breath! They moved us to our 2nd room ( where old ,rude people must have been)because we weren"t in the room 10 minutes and a security gaurd banged on our door stating there has been several complaints. We explainwe just got in it could not have been us. 10 minutes later when we ( me, my friend and our 2 girls) had just washed our faces and put on our pjs,the banging of door again with the security guard stating more complaints . We explained there could be no way. Of course this power hungry security guard said...if he had to come back one more time , he would call the police. We said go ahead because we were not doing anything wrong. It was not even 10 minutes later before we a huge...BANG,BANG on the door. It was 4 Gatilburg Police Officers and the security guard telling us to " Get Out " of the hotel room. We explained to everyone that we did nothing. We called the front desk and when she came up to the room we explained once more how we were not loud. The front desk manager said she would give us a 3rd room for the night. When we got to the room it was disgusting.!!! When it was time to leave, we asked for that night to be comped, which was I thought was nice considering we were treated like criminals. The " Lodge" refused. We thought that was more than fair. To top ot all off...we atill have to deal with them again because they charged us twice. TERRIBLE CISTOMER SERVICE. The service people, other than the front desk manager and the security gaurd ,were very nice. Not worth your time going. Horrible experience!!!

Was in walking area to all attractions. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was adequate. Pool area was very nice. Was disappointed that breakfast was not included with stay. Only complaint is that room was noisy from the noise from the pool until it closed at 11 pm.

"A most pleasant weekend."

Typically my wife and I travel to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg four times a year. When in Gatlinburg, we have stayed at various hotels from the North entrance right up to light # 3. This time, we opted to stay at the other end of town. Happy that we found accommodations at the Glenstone Lodge. Our room faced the indoor pool; lovely. All staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. Bonuses for us were the sit down dining room with wait service & omelet/waffle prepared for you; only a 1500 foot walk to the convention center and Parkway at Historic Nature Trail. Parked the car and walked everywhere desired. Will likely return again to this property and would indeed recommend it to others.
