"Great Location! Would stay here again....."

Stayed here for 1 night, Friday, 06/15/2018. Upon arrival the parking area is a covered garage area, which has a Very Low Clearance! When we finally made it to the lobby area to check in (elevators were very slow!) we were told what floor our room was on, and that was basically it; we were left having to find everything on our own. Our room was a 2 Queen Bedroom with a Balcony that faced what they call "mountains" but honestly it just faces a wooded area, no mountains in view! That was okay with us tho. We were able to see the pool very well, since we were on the 6th floor. It was nice sitting out on the balcony area at night! The room was Very Clean! Everything smelled fresh; towels/sheets! The beds were firm, and we all slept like babies!! Rested Very Well!! It was nice to be near anything and everything within walking distance! I'm sure the City Balcony Rooms have a better view, but for 1 night it was fine. We did go and swim in the pool and sit in the hot tub, that was nice! They have a small slide for the kids. Checking out the next morning was easy; we didn't do their breakfast. Yes, it's an older hotel, but still a very nice place to stay! We would stay here again! **Just Note: If you have a Lifted Vehicle or a Tall Van or SUV I'd call to make sure you will fit thru their clearance, we noticed that a lot of vehicles had scrubbed!! It says 6'6" but honestly as you get on in, it's lower than that in some places!!**

"Motel with a View"

Stayed here with my family in two rooms. This place is practically a motel with a view. Everything in the room is outdated. The air conditioning units are loud and are placed below the window. The linens are old and rough, the bathroom had a broken shower curtain and the whole bathroom felt dirty. The rooms were musty and we had to buy febreeze to make it smell better. The elevators are the worst. If you don’t stay on the top floors you’ll never get an elevator and if you do, you most likely have waited 10 minutes. This place is not a resort. There’s not a restaurant nor bell hop and the amenities are lacking. People were literally hounding us in the parking lot for a luggage cart upon checkout. The Mountain View also has a nice view of an old shed and a parking lot. If you’re okay with the motel style then this place will be fine for you. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay, look elsewhere.

Stayed here for one night, stayed in a double queen room. Hotel has an awesome location, just off the major tourist road but everything is within walking distance. Typical hotel room, kind of old furnishings and bathroom but we spent most of our time on our balcony overlooking Gatlinburg. Parking was under the hotel and very close to our room would definitely stay here again.

Rooms large and clean. Staff amazing. Parking garage cars safe and cool. Breakfast biscuits, gravy, eggs, waffles FREE. Booked a state event and Mike and Debra were so much help . Do come and visit. This is the fourth time i have stayed at The Edgewater and never been disapointed at all.
