We got an excellent rate being off season. However they put us next to the elevator and the ?water pump ran off and on all night which was kind of annoying. The rooms were very nice and staff friendly and courteous. Nice breakfast in a section on the 4th floor with fabulous view. They could use a chair or bench in the shower area to put your things on. We enjoyed being close to town and had a great time.

"Large room"

Stayed here 2 nights in January for a soccer tournament. We were in a 2 queen bed room on the 2nd floor, 206. Positives were that the room was large, the beds were nice, had a mini fridge, and the staff was friendly. The downside, the room(s) needs updating; old carpet, old tiling, and styling. Bathroom door hit fan cover everytime you closed the door, and the fan did not help defog the bathroom. The lighting in the whole room was terrible, even with all lights on, the room was dimly lit. No HD on tv (HD snob).

We've stayed here twice - friendly staff, and the rooms are done up nicely. Right next to the main strip in Gatlinburg, so no worries about parking. Just don't get a room near the elevator - super noisy!

My fiancée and I arrived a couple hours early to check in, and they were kind enough to let us into our room early. Although the room wasn't spotless, it was clean enough for an early check in. The fireplace worked well, and the heating and a/c worked. It was very convenient to be able to walk to the next door over from my room to get breakfast. The maids did very well with cleaning the room and resupplying every night. On to the bad... The floor in our room (511) seemed to have either old gross flooring, or very unfinished flooring. The carpet felt like it held the footprints of ancient footprints across several decades with the bumps scattered across it. The footprints were even visibly noticeable to some degree on the staircase. Also, the tiles were not smooth. And it wasn't just a nitpicky situation with the tiles. There were a few corners that stook out enough to cut my foot. Luckily, we noticed it so avoided it during our 4 night stay. The toilet was...very small. It's no problem for a child or for a supermodel. I doubt the regular person could comfortably use it. The heater in the bathroom did not work at all. The bottom of the bathtub looked to have a faint crack in it, along with a chipped spot. The upstairs A/C and heating unit worked, but I felt like the upstairs became dusty after turning it on for the night. The first night was really noticeable, but I think I just adjusted to it the rest of the time. Here's the big annoyance. As soon as we checked in, we found out the wifi was not password protected. Not only that, but my devices all called it an unsecured network, which I don't usually see. Even when I did try to connect with a laptop with no information I deem private or personal, I would have perhaps 5 seconds of connection, followed by 20 minutes of nothing. My fiancée and I could not watch netflix or Hulu or play either of our games whenever we weren't out on the town. This was VERY VERY frustrating. Thank god for the hot tub and the fun town. Finally, if you have room 511 or 512, prepare to get knocks on your door throughout the breakfast hour. Their plaque on the 4th floor shows like this... 511 - 512 Breakfast Room ------> A couple of other guests have told me and apologized for the confusion, thinking that the two room were the breakfast rooms. The sign means to say that there are 2 guest rooms and 1 breakfast room. If you just want 1 night, then get a cheap room here and don't plan on doing anything online. If you want a nice pleasant stay, I'd honestly not recommend this place.

We have stayed at the Ogle Properties for 20 years from skyland to Twin Islands but this was the first time at Crossroads and will be my last .check in was fast and easy no problems there, get to room, room was clean but fireplace would not come on , heater in bedroom didn't work heater in bathroom didn't work I called front desk Handy man got to room quickly got fireplace to lite after about 15 min. The repair man informed me the heater in bedroom was broke and part was ordered So they rented me a Queen suite with no heat in bedroom nor bathroom I paid 164.88 per night the second day guess what fireplace quit again called front desk he came lit it it stayed on about 15 min and went off again he worked on it again it worked a while after that but the one heating unit in the front would either freeze u or burn u up I should of been given part of my money back the lady at the breakfast room from the twin island is super sweet and great
