The Garden Plaza Hotel in Gatlinburg TN is a large property offering guests a variety of amenities and rooms that have a modern design. Located off the main parkway in Gatlinburg, the hotel, which is comprised of two buildings, is located near a meandering stream and is just a few minutes from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

The hotel features extensive amenities including a recreation area with extra-large indoor pool and Jacuzzi and a large arcade with pool table in the first building, with another indoor pool located in the second building. The second indoor pool is more private and is located on the 4th floor. It has a depth of 9ft and includes a Jacuzzi. There are also two fitness centers at the hotel: the 1st building houses the cardio-based fitness center and the 2nd building houses the weight center. The on-site restaurant, Louie’s, also serves a breakfast buffet each morning from 7am-10am Monday-Friday, and 7am-11am on weekends. In addition, Sade & Dora’s Lounge is open Thursday-Saturday, from 5pm-1am for cocktails and karaoke. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi to guests.

Rooms at the Garden Plaza Hotel Gatlinburg include Double/Double and King unit types. The rooms are small but efficient and have been updated with new case goods and bedding. Earth tones highlight the space which features a lounge chair, desk and mini-fridge. There is a separate vanity from the bathroom, some of which have a new granite counter. All of the rooms were very clean when I visited and were in good condition. The rooms in the second building are slightly more spacious and have a larger bathroom.
