My favorite part of the walk through was the old tour guide. He absolutely played his part. Really enjoyed this experience with my daughters & would recommend anyone traveling to Gatlinburg to add this fun activity to their list of to do.

The last time we visited our kids were 2 and 3, now 8 and 9. They had a blast. Only trouble we had was waiting on a manager to process our vouchers.

"Kind of disappointing. I'd recommend for kids and people that scare easy."

I visited this 10+ years ago and thought it was okay. This time around I was disappointed. I would never spend money to do this again. Not much has changed, and I remember Leatherface running at you with a chainsaw at the very end. Not this time around. There was only 2 live actors from what I could tell. The automation and noises weren't scary at all. It doesn't help when you have to go as a group, with the lead person using some stupid light that I guess you can purchase. It would be much better in total dark, so you don't get spoiled of the scares if you're in the rear of your group. This is probably one of the worst haunted houses I've ever been to because of the lack of live cast and scares.

"A great scare!"

This is by far the best haunted attraction in town! The theme is just amazing and the actors are great as well. Not for the faint of heart as there are SEVERAL scare factors in this location. It is not just a short walk, scare, leave attraction. You are actually in this attraction for some time. Come here to get your scare on! We do not recommend this attraction for small children, everyone else YES!!

"A great haunted adventure for all ages"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

It's been awhile since I've been in a haunted house or anything like this, but this past Saturday night my buddy and I were walking down the streets of Gatlinburg and getting ready go to eat dinner and decided to check Ripley's Haunted Adventure out first. I have been here before and I do remember certain things about it, but what's the old saying-- "Once a kid, always a kid?"... Yeah, that would be me. 38 years old and I still love to live life in the amusement parks at times, trying to figure out how to put this Lego set together, and of course haunted houses as well! There definitely wasn't too much traffic on Saturday evening and we were the only 2 around the time when we went, but it was fun and it definitely took some time to get through! If you compare this one to Gatlinburg's Mysterious Mansion, they are both great and I would give them the same rating. They're both unique in different ways. I'm not sure if I would take a child in something like this, but I do think for the average family, it would be a great time. There's a nice little surprise too near the end... Thanks for reading and give them a visit!

They changed since last year. Now, you carry a (pretend) gun and shoot the "monsters". My husband and I enjoyed it more than just walking through. Will be back next year!!

"spooky and creepy lurks in the shadows"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

This is an average rating on my spookometer, it has some creepy moments, but primarily air blast, loud banggs, and dark halls. I like more hardcore spooks. I would say this would be an okay outing for a family with younger kids.
