My favorite part of the walk through was the old tour guide. He absolutely played his part. Really enjoyed this experience with my daughters & would recommend anyone traveling to Gatlinburg to add this fun activity to their list of to do.

The last time we visited our kids were 2 and 3, now 8 and 9. They had a blast. Only trouble we had was waiting on a manager to process our vouchers.

We had three kids and myself which were boys 8, 8, and 13. They were pumped all day waiting to go to the Haunted House. Half way through, they really got scared and "thought it was a bad idea" and wanted out. At the end, they were crying, my brave zombie kids. If you are an adult, it is amusing and once is enough. I agree with some other comments about the cost as we had full fare. Would go back at lower rates after consultation with my little Walking Dead fans.

I actually find this to be one of the more fun ripleys attractions that are offered. But for the money, the value just isn't there. Its a fun haunted house, don't get me wrong. But it is pretty generic and hasn't changed much over the years. I've probably been 3 or 4 times at least since it has opened. And it's always the same. The actors always have awesome Make up. And the mine theme is cool in the beginning. Even though this same theme has nothing to do with the rest of the cliche haunted house. Mysterious mansion is better in my opinion.

We live in the area and visited during a local discount day with reduced price admission for TN residents. I was apprehensive at first, but as we continued through it ended up being well worth the price. Our children, 12 & 14 thoroughly enjoyed themselves and cannot wait to go back again. I'm not sure we would visit again, only because now we have seen it, but would absolutely recommend it to someone who has never been, and we would send our children through again.

Our 7-year-old daughter wanted to go to this as soon as she heard about it, so when we went to Gatlinburg, it was near the top of our list. I went through it with her, and first of all I would recommend bringing a "glow stick" because no one leads you through this house. You are in complete darkness most of the time, and have to stay in "single file" order the entire time, and a little awkward when strangers were told to put their hand on your shoulder in a single file line. Thankfully I was not the Leader of our group of eight. There were plenty of jump scares, and loud bangs, but overall it was not extremely scary unless you are a 7-year-old little girl. Our brave daughter repeated over and over throughout the ten minute walk-thru, "I think I'm going to throw up!" That alone made it a lot of scary fun. We ended up teasing her for the rest of the weekend. Not sure when she'll return to the Haunted Adventure with me.
