"Gatlinburg 2018"
July, 2018
First time at the Speedpark, and it was fun. Found out real quickly that all the cars at Smoky Mountain Speedway are not really equal...I had the number 10, which was sputtering & missing badly. Hated not being able to compete in that track. Mini golf courses weren't very well maintained. Ride another intermediate track that was ok. Rain ruined the day from early afternoon thru the rest of the night, so didn't really get the full day we were hoping for...only a couple hours. No rain check given.

"“Fun tracks, good value”"
July, 2016
Pros:Lots of tracks and activities to do here. A great value with the day pass.
Cons:The wait times were around 10-15 minutes per track and there are no elevated tracks. The bathrooms were disgusting.

"Nice place overall"
June, 2016
We had a great experience. All the staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because they need more than one staff working on the race tracks.

Fun activity right in town. It would be good for families or larger groups to get a little healthy competition going.

Best value for go carts you pay one price and ride all day! They have several different tracks to try. Also have arcade but we came for go carts. Employees were helpful when needed.

"Come for the racing, not the arcade"

We purchased the all day pass for myself and my two sons. The pass is well worth it if you are going to be there a few hours. Many different tracks, although the largest was closed at the time of our visit. Fun tracks and a track for all ages. Our package also came with 20 tokens for us each. The arcade was ok, but you go there for the racing.

"Good Value but a little worse for wear"

My husband and son got the all day ride bracelet which was about $21 per person with the $2 off coupon you find in all the books in town. We were there the day after Christmas and it wasn't too terribly busy in the morning. Most they had to wait was for one group of drivers to finish. They had a fun time with The Intimidator course being their favorite. All the karts were good but visually the facility is looking a little outdated. It needs some paint and touch up in areas. All the coverings, where you stand in line, are faded and in disrepair. Torn awnings - that type of thing. With the all day pass you get to play putt putt. My husband and son tried to play but gave up because the course was in terrible shape. They came back later in the day and it was much busier. They had to wait longer for driving. My husband was spun out on a course and when the attendant was trying to help correct him a young boy barreled into the both of them. My husband was done for the day and we hope the attendant wasn't injured. These things can't be avoided with this type of activity but maybe age ranges need to be re-evalutated. They also have a week long pass for about $40 that seems like a good value. Overall, the boys had fun, the amount paid was worth being able to come and go throughout out the day but some paint and polish is really needed.

What are the hours of operation for the NASCAR SpeedPark?
The hours of the park depend on the time of year and day of the week. To confirm the hours of operation for the particular day or time of year you had in mind, please call (865) 908-5500.

No. Closed toed shoes are only required for the rock climbing wall.

Do I need to wear a helmet while driving or riding in a go-kart?
No. Each of our karts is equipped with safety harnesses and are closely monitored by our track attendants. If you or someone in your party would feel more comfortable wearing a helmet while participating in a race, they are available at each track throughout the park. The only track to require a helmet is the Smoky Mountain Speedway.
