"scared out of my mind"
April, 2015
I had a good time. But, I was very scared the whole time. my horse got spoked from another horse in a field he jumped the fence and charged my horse. and my horse jumped up twice on me and was spoked and was very on edge the rest of the ride. She kicked another horse in the face. I was just scared the whole time. I recommend a guide in the front and the back. I was in the very back and the guide was 12 horses in front of me and couldn't control the situtuation . Very scary. but, I understand they can't control animals I just recommend two guides on a trip

"Blazing Saddles at the Stables."

The employees matched the horses up with the riders and did a great job. There was an autistic child that was along for the ride and the guides did a wonderful job. They made him feel safe and were patient. I was glad to see that they made him feel so welcomed.

My husband and I did zip line and horse back riding at adventure park. I loved the zipping better. The horses are well trained but in the beginning my husband horse cut up a little bit and got relaxed before we left. Jess was our tourist on the very nice trails. She came back while on the trail to close my mouth due to fright. She kept checking on everyone during the trip. If little kids can get through this, you can to. I would do it again even though my booty hurt the next day 😆

We were looking for something different to do on our last day of vacation in Tennessee and came across this place. Everyone did an outstanding job. From arriving to leaving. The lady at the counter did an awesome job going back and fourth making sure everyone got taken care of and taking awesome pictures. Jessie out horseback tour guide went above and beyond. She was super friendly. She shared personal stories, made sure we were safe and comfortable, got to know us. It was like horseback riding with a friend a long term friend. She also stopped to take a picture for us. The zipline team also did an outstanding job. They made sure we were safe and entertained. Thank you each and everyone of you that made out last day one to remember!!! We will definitely be back. -kentucky

"Great Experience at 5 Oaks"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed October 25, 2017
We had an excellent ride, and I was very pleased that 5 Oaks is one of the few riding stables that would allow me to ride double with my 5 year old. Our guide, Jess, was excellent. She was very attentive to the riders and was always checking to be sure everyone was having a good time and that there were no problems along the way. The ride itself was very beautiful and the horses were all very good mannered and walked very nicely. I highly recommend 5 Oaks and I would go back again.

"Could be a much better experience!!!"

Having been raised on a farm and rode horses all my life, I was not impressed with the guide telling me if I didn't ride correctly I would get bucked off. Why would you even have a horse that was capable of that behavior, especially renting them to people who might have never ridden a horse? I have never been bucked off a horse..... I did not appreciate him hollering at my two young grandchildren to "slap his neck hard with those reins!!" They were there for an enjoyable ride, not to be scared by the guide. Not impressed with the entire operation. I think your staff could use some customer service training.
