"Horseback riding in Pigeon Forge"
August, 2016
It was my second time in the area and I appreciated this time appreciated not having to drive so far to go horseback riding. Convenient location in Pigeon Forge, across from the Outlets and close to Dollywood. The staff was friendly and efficient. We had a wonderful experience!
Tip: Plan to get there ahead of time. Traffic is a little heavy on the Parkway at certain times.

"scared out of my mind"
April, 2015
I had a good time. But, I was very scared the whole time. my horse got spoked from another horse in a field he jumped the fence and charged my horse. and my horse jumped up twice on me and was spoked and was very on edge the rest of the ride. She kicked another horse in the face. I was just scared the whole time. I recommend a guide in the front and the back. I was in the very back and the guide was 12 horses in front of me and couldn't control the situtuation . Very scary. but, I understand they can't control animals I just recommend two guides on a trip
Tip: wear the helmet

The employees matched the horses up with the riders and did a great job. There was an autistic child that was along for the ride and the guides did a wonderful job. They made him feel safe and were patient. I was glad to see that they made him feel so welcomed.
Tip: There are some great pictures along the way!

We had an awesome time riding horses at Five Oaks! We did this as a combo package with the zip-lining as well. We happened to be the only two on our horseback tour and we had a great guide named Jessica. She made us feel super comfortable to talk to her. My sunglasses even fell off at one point and she stopped, got off her horse, and went and got them for me- fantastic customer service! At the end of the tour, they had a photographer taking pictures named Chloe and she did a great job capturing this trip for us. Can't wait to return!

Nice and relaxing experience for first time riders. Staff seemed diligent in picking horses based on their assessment of riders. Instructions were very short particularly about basic control of horse though they say don't let them get close to other horses and don't let them eat on the way. We could get some nice view of mountains though it is mostly close to Parkway. The duration was about 45-50 mins and felt good enough. Overall I would recommend for first timers and inexperienced people.

My neice had a lot of fun riding a horse at this place. Her guide was funny and knowledagable and put my neice at ease with his instructions. They have tons of zip lines as well. We did not do any of the zip lines but there were other families enjoying them and they looked like lots of fun.

We we're so very disappointed in this riding stable. They say they are in the mountains which is very misleading. You go around one hill and you can see the streets and buildings in Town. You go up and right back down. The guide did not do anything but ride ahead so the horses would follow. A big disappointment and not worth the money. The horses we dirty and ungroomed also.
