Animals were tired and none of my family of four had the heart to even kick them to make them go faster. The guide insisted that we kicked them and i just replied how would you like me to kick you.We visited Big Rock Dude Ranch in Pigeon Forge and for sure recommend that stables over this one.
Great ride in the smokey mountains! Was a wonderful opportunity to create a great getaway from cell phones and Facebook! We loved our quiet and tranquil horses!
We enjoyed our horseback riding trip. Our guide, whose name I can't remember, was great. He was an older gentleman with a good sense of humor, and he was great with my daughter, who began to cry when her horse got a little jumpy. He kept my daughter right up front with him the whole time, and he was just like a pop pop to her!!! The trail was fun, and the horses were nice and clean. One reason I gave it 4 out of 5 was because the girl at the check-in booth was rude...no smile, no hello, acted like we were bothering her to come to her window. The other reason is that they do take your photo at the end, but they take each person individually as you are riding, so if you have a family of 4, you have to buy 4 separate photos or a CD...small fortune. I was hoping for a shot of all 4 of us on the horses. That's my suggestion to them for the future. Overall, great day!!
