We chose to do the swinging bridge adventure and my family loved it! Lots of fun and i personally loved the hike to the waterfall! There are many other things to do there too such as an obstacle course, climbing wall, and ziplines! You should definately visit foxfire mountain!

we are older and enjoyed seeing the bridge but there wasn't a lot for us to do - I think it would be a great place to take our grandchildren one day.

"Great time"

The trails and hike was great and relaxing. Though I did do the zip line(s) (they have a few) it was interesting and fun to watch. Some across the "valley" were so high up They looked like ants. The bridge was what attracted me to go and it was well worth it. If you like nature this is a great quite hike.
Tip: Limited store foods, bring water or beverage that you can carry. Is a food "restaurant", but i didn't go to it.

We went out looking for a cider mill, and e found Foxfire mountain, no knowing what they even had to do there besides getting some awesome cider, we were amazed as we walked around the property, there was a small place where you could write your wish and then you walk it over the swinging rope bridge and hang it, that was amazing little touch, and something so different to do. We tasted some yummy apple cider, talked to the owner of the place for a while, super nice, and very informative, then went and hung our wishes, the kids got a kick of the small area they had for the kids to go up in a bridge area, and the area to make the rocks stack up..they also had trails to go for a hike on, kids obstacle course, climbing walls, zip lining..you name it. The place is very well themed, and we spend a while there..he drive out there was like in the country hills, which made for some beautiful scenery.

Definitely a thrill. Well organized and runs efficiently with minimal down time. Minimal walks or rides between the various stations. You feel more and more confident with each of the rides. On my last ride I purposefully jumped and flipped before the harness engaged and then ran upside down for 80% of the trip, just like I saw the trip leaders do. I am 55 years old!. No safety cable however, if that is a "no go" item for you.

Loved the relaxation after the Zip Line Adventure, we just wish the water wasn't so low, but by no means was this the fault of Foxfire

"Nice little outing on a swinging bridge"

The bridge itself is not nearly as long as pictures show it to be. But it's a very nice bridge and fun to walk across and take pictures. On the side of the bridge that you enter in, there's a neat little garden with a wishing well and a covered little building where you can pick up papers to write down your wish. After going across the bridge, you then go into another little covered walk where you can attach the wishes to the ceiling. Kinda cool :) There is a small obstacle course/rope bridge that us 60's age group went on with no problem. There's also a trail that goes to a waterfall. Some went further than others, but we all wished we had grabbed a walking stick on the way in! The trail is rocky and steep in places and some of us turned around partway up. Coming down was definitely tougher! If you make the entire loop though, it's probably much better coming down. If you don't zip, you can probably do the swinging bridge and the trail to the waterfall in about an hour. I'm glad we went!
